Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 May 2026
Applies to: anyone using the Waei Fleet platform at app.waei.ae

These Terms describe what you can expect from Waei, what we expect from you, and how we work together. We've written them in plain English. If anything is unclear, email hello@waei.ae and we'll explain.

About these Terms. Waei is currently operated as an independent service while we work with our first wave of UAE fleet customers. Formal company incorporation is planned as the business grows. These Terms will be updated as the business formalizes, and existing customers will be notified of material changes.

1.The basics

"Waei" (or "we", "us") refers to the Waei Fleet platform and the team operating it. "You" (or "Customer") refers to the business or person using the service.

By creating an account or being added to a fleet on Waei, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Waei is a fleet maintenance management platform. It helps you track vehicles, repairs, defects, drivers, costs, and compliance for a fleet you operate. We're not a fleet operator ourselves — we're a tool you use.

2.Who can use Waei

Waei is built for UAE-based small and medium fleet operators. You may use it if:

You're responsible for the people you add to your fleet account (managers, supervisors, mechanics). Their actions are treated as your actions for the purposes of these Terms.

3.Pricing and your plan

Waei offers multiple plans, including a genuinely free option ("Free"), paid monthly plans ("Starter" and "Pro"), and a custom Enterprise tier. Current plans, features, and prices are published at waei.ae/pricing.

Plan terms in summary:

If you stop paying for a paid plan, your account does not automatically lose access — you'll typically be downgraded to the Free plan (subject to its limits) and given time to reduce usage to fit. We'll notify you before any service interruption.

We may adjust pricing or plan features over time. Existing customers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any change that affects them, and will always have the option to cancel before changes take effect.

4.Your account and security

Each user logs into Waei with their personal email address. You're responsible for keeping your email account secure, since access to that email allows access to Waei.

If you're a manager, you control who else can access your fleet. Add team members through the Admin → Team page. Revoke their access when they leave your organization. We can't restore data accessed by an authorized team member you haven't yet revoked.

Tell us at hello@waei.ae if you suspect someone is accessing your account without permission.

5.Your data is yours

You own all the data you enter into Waei. Vehicles, repairs, invoices, photos, drivers, costs — all of it.

We process this data only to provide the service to you. Specifically, we use it to:

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train AI models without your specific consent. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

You can export your data from Waei at any time. If your account is closed, you can request an export of all your data within 90 days of closure.

6.What we provide

We work to keep Waei available, reliable, and useful. Specifically:

Waei is provided "as is" while we are in early stages. We don't make formal SLA guarantees yet, but we care and we want it to work for you. If something's broken, tell us and we'll fix it. Enterprise plans may include specific SLA terms by separate agreement.

7.What you can't do

You agree not to use Waei to:

If we believe you're using Waei in violation of these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your access. We'll try to give you notice and a chance to resolve the issue first, unless the situation requires immediate action (e.g. ongoing security threat).

8.AI features and third-party services

Waei uses AI for features like invoice scanning. When you upload an invoice, the content is processed by an AI provider to extract structured data (vendor, amounts, line items).

Waei relies on third-party infrastructure providers for database hosting, authentication, web delivery, and AI processing. These providers operate under contractual terms that require them to protect your data and process it only on our behalf. We choose providers with strong security practices and well-established reputations in the cloud industry.

For details on what data goes where, see the Privacy Policy.

9.Payment, billing, and price changes

The Free plan does not require payment. For paid plans:

UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to all paid amounts once we are VAT-registered. Until then, pricing is shown exclusive of VAT and no VAT will be charged.

10.If something goes wrong

Software sometimes has bugs. Cloud services sometimes have outages. We take both seriously and work to minimize them.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

These limitations don't apply to anything that can't legally be limited under UAE law.

11.Ending the relationship

You can stop using Waei at any time. Email us at hello@waei.ae and we'll close your account and help you export your data.

We can also terminate your access if:

If we terminate the service entirely (e.g. discontinue Waei), we'll give you at least 60 days' notice and help you export your data.

12.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally — for instance, when we incorporate, add paid plans, or refine our practices.

For non-trivial changes, we'll let you know by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms. If you don't accept, you can close your account before the changes apply, with full data export.

13.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes that can't be resolved by talking to us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
